Who hates blackheads? Almost everyone! Haha. I have many blackheads on my nose so doing exfoliation regularly is a must. Pore strip helps too, a little. Talking about pore strip, I found out a trick on Youtube how to maximize the use of your pore strip.
You'll need a pore strip, baking soda, and water. Yes, you hear me right, baking soda (not baking powder, okay). Some people said that baking soda is bad for your skin because of its pH 9. It's too alkaline for you acidic face. I believe if you don't let the baking soda stay on your body/face for a long time it shouldn't be that bad. Also, try to limit the usage, stick to once every two weeks only. I tried the trick this afternoon.
First, wash your face as you normally would then make some baking soda paste. Put a little bit of water onto your baking soda to turn it into paste. Rub that paste to your nose for 15--30 seconds and rinse it off. Then use your pore strip for 15--20 minutes.
I did see the effect. My nose is smoother after I applied baking soda paste, but I didn't get the good result from my pore strip. It didn't pull out many blackheads as I hope before. So, I guess this trick didn't work for me this time? Maybe I'll try it again next time.
My review for this Acnes Pore Strip:
-it didn't pull out many blackheads. Maybe because it doesn't sticky enough?
-the size of this pore strip is quite small.
-price, so-so just like Biore pore strips. Around ten or eleven thousand rupiahs.
Will I repurchase Acnes pore strip?
Maybe not.
That's it. Will you try this trick? The result will turn out differently on each person so you won't know if this work or not until you try it yourself. Do you use pore strip too? What brand of pore strip do you use? ;)
